Frank Silva & Terry Lower – Livestream

Join us Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM Eastern in April and May for a livestream concert series featuring area musicians, broadcasting from La Luna Recording Studio in Kalamazoo’s Edison neighborhood.

Our first concert on April 8 – “Frank and Terry Play On!” – features jazz standards performed by Frank Silva with a multitude of woodwind instruments, accompanied by pianist Terry Lower.

About the Musicians

Frank Silva plays all of the woodwind instruments with a unique energy and intensity, crossing the complete spectrum of musical styles. From his work with rock and jazz bands in his native Los Angeles; performing with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra; and backing touring Broadway shows that come through the area; he is sure to deliver compelling and exhilarating performances.

Pianist Terry Lower has been a fixture on the Michigan jazz scene for over 30 years, performing in concerts, jazz clubs, festivals and recording sessions. He often plays with and arranges for his own trio and quintet. In 2016, Terry was the West Michigan Jazz Society’s “Musician Of The Year”.
