In partnership with the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Unveiling American Genius exhibit, local musicians created short recorded works in response to selected artwork. Musicians include:

- Laurie Jarski
- Elden Kelly
- Elizabeth Start
- Monica Washington Padula
- Helen Yee
Each musician was invited to browse the collection and choose two works that resonated with them. The short 1-to-2-minute compositions will be available for listening from the our website – be sure to bring your headphones, and keep an eye out for QR codes when attending the exhibit!
Regular admission fees for the KIA do apply, but the music is available for free. Explore the exhibit hours and book your tickets in advance by visiting the KIA website.
