Our annual “Sound & Spirit” event took place during the United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week (February 1-7, 2019). The week hoped spread the message of harmony and tolerance among the followers of the three monotheistic faiths and all the world’s religions.
Performers included Parkwood Upjohn Drum Group (student percussion ensemble); Sid Ellis II (Jembe and African song); Helen L. Fox Gospel Music Center (student ensemble); Karl Schrock (organ); Taiko Drummers with Esther Vandecar and Carolyn Koebel; Samuel Nalangira (Ugandan harp, pictured); Bahar Ensemble (Middle-Eastern music).
